New Matter operates a members' studio in Belém, Lisboa. This policy explains how we handle the personal data of members, applicants and visitors to this site, in line with the EU GDPR and Portuguese data protection law.

Application details you submit (name, occupation, email and your note), membership and billing records, door-access logs, and basic technical information needed to keep this site secure.

How we use it & legal basis

To assess applications, administer membership, take payment and operate the space safely. We rely on contract, legitimate interest and legal obligation as applicable; we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Sharing & retention

We share data only with processors that help us run the studio (payments, hosting) under contract. We keep it only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law.
